Llanelli & District League ~ Lady Bowlers

A joint meeting was held between the League and CCBA Officers to try to resolve difficulties that clubs were facing due to lack of male registered bowlers, and needing to play ladies when short of players.

The meeting was the fourth meeting on this subject, and what resulted, was the following, which will remain in place until the end of the current season.

The new rule is - 'IF A CLUB CANNOT FIELD 16 MALE REGISTERED PLAYERS FOR A LEAGUE MATCH, THEY CAN THEN PLAY UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 4 REGISTERED FEMALE BOWLERS OF ONE PER RINK TO MAKE UP A TEAM OF 16"

This rule is active as of today, 29th July 2014

Carmarthen County County Questionaire Forms

The following is advice to those clubs in CCBA that are using municipal green, if they have not already returned the Council Questionaire, that those clubs should be made aware of a meeting that will take place on 6th August, which will discuss the best way of returning the forms to the council. Therefore, those clubs may want to complete these forms using the information coming from that meeting.

NOTE. The forms MUST be returned to the Council by 9th August.
